We have had a request from the Rotary Club of Funchal, Madeira for financial assistance after the torrential rains that led to landslides and widespread devastation in the town and along the south side of the Island.

Madeira relies to a large extent on tourism and subsistence farming.

Many local families have lost everything, their homes, their possessions and, in some cases, their lives.
